Regulations
1) BLOCK: For the rule of prohibiting men from blocking attacks on girls, here are details. A guy inside the 3 meter is not allowed to return the ball to the other side on an attack from a girl if he raises his arms (on the ground or in the air during a jump), the ball must remain on the side of the block and count as contact.
If a girl bumps or « touche », it is possible to attack or block that action. In short, everyone (boy and girl) must force themselves to avoid the counterattack at the net by returning the ball high enough when it is sent to the other side.
2) MIXED: This is a mixed league, so you need a minimum of 1 girl on the field at all times. It is not allowed to play with 6 guys. With the absence of a girl at the start of the match, the game started 7-0 against the team without a girl.
3) GHOST: If the 6th player is absent: the ghost player rule applies. Either when this player is supposed to be before, only 2 players can be on the net, when he is at the service, there is direct point and service for the opponent. This applies even when an injury forces a player off the pitch.
4) NET: Any contact with the integrity of the net between the antennas is counted as a fault.
5) NET: Penetration occurs when the whole foot passes the center line OR when the passing of the latter hinders the opponent.
6) CEILING: When the ball hits the ceiling (one rebound or more): if it is a contact following a first defense or a reception and if the ball remains in the defense / reception field then the game can continue. If it is the second or third contact, the ball is foul.
7) GENERAL: Player changes or rotations are accepted with no change limit during a match.
8) END: When the bells ring, synonymous with the end of normal time, the game ends. However, if the ball is still in play, the point must be completed and counted. The ball is in play as soon as it is thrown in the air on serve, as soon as the service motion is started.
END: If the curtains are raised, the games come to a complete stop for safety reasons.
9) SPIRIT: The arbitration, in addition to the final, will be the result of a self-arbitration, therefore fair play, respect and good humor are welcome;) in case of doubt of the two teams: thank you for replaying point.
10) SERVICE: In order to speed up the game and play real volleyball, it has been determined that the best team in the standings pick the court and start with the ball to serve. On the evening's timesheet, it is written "Service and pitch" under the team in question.
Here, the QQCM team chooses the field and will do the serve to start the match.
11) SERVICE: When serving, contact with the foot on the service line is tolerated. However, if the foot completely exceeds the line, the service is counted as a fault.
12) Otherwise: classic volleyball rules apply.
